Circumcision Not Recommended
Chances are, he will never require circumcision. Oddly, whether he is circumcised or not his chances of needing circumcision is the same. One in 1,000 circumcised boys will need “recircumcision” sometime in their life, compared to the same number of intact boys who will be circumcised.1 The annual risk is lower, only one man in 10,000 will opt for circumcision each year,2 and only a portion of these are to deal with a medical condition.
