Many parents struggle with this reason. Rather than repeat the harm, just explain to your sons, when they are old enough to understand or notice the difference, that when you learned more about circumcision, you chose to not circumcise your second son.¹ You also might want to apologize to the circumcised son, explaining you would have kept him intact, too, if you had known better when he was born.
